The Problem
Sales hands off in a Slack message. Customer Success builds a project plan from scratch. The internal team forgets who owns what. The customer doesn't know what's next. Time-to-value slips. Renewal risk starts on day one.
This package gives you the foundation to fix it — the shape of a great onboarding system, installed fast, ready for your team to start using on Day One. No discovery workshop. No custom design phase. The standard monday.com onboarding template, set up in your account with your segments and your data.
What's Included
A dedicated workspace, the standard board architecture, your segments customized, your in-flight customers loaded, your team trained. Anything beyond the base is sold separately as an add-on or Hours Package work.
A new monday.com workspace in your account, named for your team, isolated from anything else you run.
Customer Onboarding Pipeline, Onboarding Tasks (relationship-linked), Playbook Templates Library, and Expansion Opportunities.
Your customer segment labels mapped into the standard pipeline architecture so the system speaks your language from Day One.
Stage-based task generation, overdue-task escalation, health alerts, at-risk reminders — all built and active in your workspace.
Your current customers imported at the right stages so you go live with real data, not an empty system.
60-minute recorded session covering team day-to-day usage and leadership view. One session, whole team.
4-page role-based PDF, admin documentation, and the contact path for when you're ready for your next round of work.
Same standard playbook, same outcome, every customer. That's how we hold the fixed-fee — no scope-creep negotiations, no surprises.
How It Works
Each phase has a defined outcome. You'll know exactly what's happening and what we need from you, every step of the way.
60-minute kickoff. Short intake form: your segments, your in-flight customer list, calendar holds. The lightest possible start.
Dedicated workspace deployed in your monday account, segments customized, 7–8 standard automations built, up to 20 in-flight customers loaded. Delivery Lead QA pass.
60-minute combined training session, recorded. Quickstart guide delivered. Go-live readiness sign-off. Automations toggled active. Handoff email sent.
Engagement closes cleanly. Your team owns the system. Add-ons and customization come back as separate conversations when you're ready.
What This Package Returns
Most onboarding-system projects fail because they try to do too much before the team has lived in the system. This package inverts that. Get the foundation in 3 to 4 weeks; live in it for 30 to 60 days; come back for the customization you actually need.

Figures reflect industry-standard B2B customer success benchmarks. Outcomes vary by team size, onboarding complexity, and adoption.
Best For
SMB or mid-market B2B with a defined post-sale handoff problem who want to start solving it now without committing to a full custom engagement. Teams who close enough new customers per quarter to justify a system — even five a quarter is plenty. Buyer profile: COO, Head of Customer Success, Head of Operations, Founder.
Not For
Transactional B2C, self-serve SaaS with no human onboarding, or teams that need a deeply customized workflow from day one. Those teams want our Hours Package route instead, where everything is custom from kickoff. We'll route you to the right shape if it isn't this one.
Pricing
Fixed-fee productized engagements are easier to budget for, faster to approve, and remove the back-and-forth of custom proposals. You know exactly what's in the box. Add-ons quoted separately when you're ready.

Why OrangeDot
We've set up onboarding systems in monday.com for B2B companies across professional services, manufacturing, SaaS, and more. Every time, the question was the same: how do we move from a handoff that happens in a Slack message to one that runs on a system?
The base build is what we now install for every team that doesn't yet need a custom design. It's the smallest possible step that produces a real working system. From there, the customization you pay for is the customization you actually need.

No — CRM integration is sold separately as an add-on. The base build picks up after a deal is won in whatever system you use today (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, a spreadsheet, anything). Your team enters the new customer into the onboarding workspace, and the system takes it from there. When you're ready to wire your CRM in so new closed-won deals create onboarding records automatically, that's a follow-on conversation.
That's actually the strongest case for the base build — you get our proven template installed, your team uses it for 30 to 60 days, and the customization you pay for next is the customization you actually need (not the customization you guessed at on day one). If you do want a custom-designed onboarding journey from day one, that's a different engagement — talk to us about an Hours Package.
No. We create a new dedicated workspace in your monday account as part of the deploy, typically named something like "[Your Company] Onboarding." It's isolated from anything else you have in monday, with clean permissions and a clear scope boundary. If you don't have a monday account yet at all, we can help you spin one up before kickoff.
Your team owns the system. We hand off admin documentation, the recorded training, and a quick-start guide. Most clients come back within 60 days for one of our Hours Packages or for a specific add-on (CRM integration is the most common). You're never locked in — but the door stays open.
The base build is intentionally fixed scope — that's how we hold the $2,500 fixed-fee and the 3 to 4 week timeline. If you want something materially different (custom workflows, integrations, custom playbook templates, a customer portal, longer hypercare), those are add-ons or a separate Hours Package engagement. We'll quote them based on what you actually need.
The base build caps at 20 because that's what fits in the time budget. If you have more, we can load the first 20 in the base and add the rest as a small Hours Package add-on, or load all of them as part of a follow-on engagement. Either way, we'll set the expectation cleanly at intake.
