Working on a new project can be exciting, but getting started can be overwhelming! There is so much to figure out - which format do you use? What kinds of information do you include?

One of the best parts about monday.com is that it includes hundreds of templates across many different categories: project management, content production, operations, sales, product management, and more! You can even tap into industry-specific templates, such as real estate, education, and construction.

We’ll walk you through some key templates, all which can be found in the Template Center

Top 5 Project Management Templates:

  1. Single Project Template: From planning and monitoring progress to execution, the Single Project Template has everything you need to start managing a project immediately. Organize deadlines, stakeholders, budgets, and more in one place. Keep track of everything, so nothing slips through the cracks.

  1. Project Portfolio Management Template: Plan, track, and manage complex projects across multiple teams and departments. You can also streamline project requests and get a high-level view of your entire portfolio.

  1. Program Risk Register Template: Manage all of your project risks in the Risk Register Template. Add risk owners and probabilities, and use the smart formula to help assess the risk level. Visualize the risk statuses at a glance through the risk register dashboard.

Taking a look at the Template Editor:

You can now edit and manage all of your templates in one place! Having a dedicated area for your templates means less confusion between templates and boards, making navigation a breeze. With the Template Editor, you can make any necessary changes to your templates and then publish them for the rest of your team to access when you’re ready.

✏️ NOTE: This new feature is currently in gradual release. If you’re not able to access it in your monday.com account, check back in the next few weeks! In addition, the Template Editor is not currently available on the mobile app.
