About the Client:

Regal Rexnord is a global manufacturer of electric motors and power transmission components headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The company has manufacturing, sales, and service facilities throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia, with over 29,000 employees. The company is consistently on the Fortune 1000, currently ranked at #631 as of 2023.

The Challenge:

Regal Rexnord has historically used a combination of emails, spreadsheets, and in-person meetings to track and deploy marketing campaigns. Each team had their own method of achieving the same end goals. The siloed nature of this process led to consistent miscommunication between teams that resulted in duplicate work (i.e. different teams running similar marketing campaigns for the same audience). This lack of visibility between teams also made it harder for leadership to get a cohesive view on how all campaigns were performing and identify potential bottlenecks.

Regal had previously invested in monday.com, but struggled to get full-scale adoption among the team, and needed a strategic partner to hit the reset button.

The Solution:

Regal needed a standardized, templatized, and scalable process with high visibility that all teams could use to properly execute their marketing campaigns. OrangeDot streamlined the campaign process by creating a high level overview board as well as execution board templates. The high level overview board contains critical project data at a 50,000 foot view, making it easy for management to understand project status, type of project, project lead, end dates, and other high-level data.

The execution board allows the team to collaborate in one central hub to map out their marketing campaigns and also includes customized templates for each type of campaign. The templates generate each step in the campaign process in chronological order, so the team can focus on assigning tasks and doing the project work. OrangeDot also helped the team sync information between the execution board and overview board, allowing leadership to quickly access the status of tasks, timeline, and budget.

In addition, OrangeDot provided Regal customized training to ensure a smooth implementation and onboarding, giving them the confidence they needed to re-launch monday.com. The training outlined best practices, short-term and long term strategic guidance, and tips and tricks that equipped the team to work smarter.

The Impact:

OrangeDot’s multi-tiered solution allows Regal to save hours of time each week, allowing the team to focus on project work vs. worrying about manual project management tactics. The new boards have increased collaboration and provide greater visibility across all teams, including the Leadership level. Most importantly, the team has access to scalable templates, so even if there is an increased volume of campaigns, the team can quickly get boards created that immediately give them a sense of timeline and deliverables. Lastly, monday.com provides the team easy reporting with real-time data so all teams know where campaigns stand, where the bottlenecks are, and when campaigns are expected to go live. There is now one source of truth the team can lean on.

Having these solutions in place has significantly improved communication across the team and everyone has a clear view of campaigns from a high-level down to the granular details. Because of the strong foundation the team built from OrangeDot’s guidance and training, the team has increased confidence to run multiple campaigns. In addition, the buy-in that was once missing from previous monday.com implementations is no longer an issue. With its first ever full adoption across the team, Regal is working smarter with a renewed sense of excitement!
